... the universal response was that 'the activities are really good fun.' They loved the DVD: 'Really cool'. 'Loved the Matrix-style filming'. 'Really good to watch something on Jesus that isn't "lame"'. When asked what the key point of the evening was everyone said it was that Jesus' miracles were important because of what they said about who he was. If I'm honest, I was taken aback at how well they'd taken that on board.
The Miracles of Jesus teaching resource is advertised as objective and thought provoking. From watching bits of the documentary, as a Christian, I wonder what people of other faiths feel about the documentary.
From what I understand, Muslims don’t doubt the existence of Jesus but rather the fact that he is the son of God. In Islam Jesus is accepted as a prophet; however the miracles he performed are not discussed as this would be accepting his divinity.
The documentary does present both sides of the arguments and leaves you to make your mind up. Was Jesus divine from the start or did he come in to his own through the miracles he performed?
Any thoughts?
I really like the way the pictures stands still and moves in bits - clever stuff and it keeps me wondering and sort of magnifies the miracles as they happen.
